NPN Down Line – Give to Get
During my first month with One Step 4 Income there has been a noticeable absence of contact from my immediate up-line at NPN, even though I joined NPN within a few days of joining OSI. Personally, I find that a bit disappointing.
I acknowledge that there must be a lot of members in his down-line at OSI where my membership number is five thousand five hundred and something… his is one hundred and something.
Perhaps he has so many paid members at NPN that one more such is of little interest. However, to my way of thinking, relationship building with your down line is of significant importance.
You probably know that, when one of your down-line members at OSI wishes to join you at NPN, Ray now forwards that request to you. This gives you an ideal opportunity to encourage that person to become a paid and active member at NPN.
Most people will simply send their NPN Referral Link and possibly an encouraging email to that individual. But if you look in your back office at NPN you will find there is another link that you could send to the applicant. It is called the “Referral Distribution System” link.

Safelists Submitters
If you have read my posts, both here and in the Forum, you will know that I’m not particularly fond of Safelists Submitters (or “Blasters”). They cost money to use and it’s difficult to judge how effective they may be. However, my friend, Joel Heim, recently sent me details of a programme that he uses, and which he says is very effective.
This in a much more attractive programme than I first had thought, with:
- the ability to choose to which lists you want to send
- submit your favourite Safelists for inclusion in their existing huge database of Safelists
- send multiple different letters to different lists
and - have your submissions scheduled to be sent whenever you want, whether or not you are actually at your computer.

It is the business concept of developing a down line first, whilst controlling expenditure, which attracts me to One Step 4 Income… and, I dare say, that is the principle that attracts you.
Nevertheless, I recognise that time is not an efficient investment by itself… yes, Ray DeGrendel has crafted a superb plan at OSI. How you apply his guidelines will determine how quickly you begin to receive some tangible results.
I made comment in my last post that my results indicate a much more positive response from those Safelists where a Credit Mailer is provided. I received the following observation from Ray:
“I agree with the statement about credit Safelists being better. The only trouble with credit based lists are that many cost money to join. Or, cost money to buy credits after you run out of the free credits.”
To which my reaction is… aah yes, but there is more than one way of skinning a cat!
Last week I organised my mailings so that I could mail using several Credit Based Mailers every day.
I sent out a total 67,313 emails to the top 20 most responsive Safelists, as measured by Traffic Hoopla.
Every one of those emails was sent via a Credit Based Mailer. It didn’t cost me a penny, centime or cent... just a few "tricks" and a bit of time to get myself properly organised.
This week I sent the same email message that I used in my 2nd week with OSI. I tracked all my responses using TrackThatAd
OSI Hits: 853 = 1.27% Conversion (Compared with my first week that is an improvement of nearly 400%)
The Best Performers were:
SaferSafelist: Hits 61 = 4.54% conversion
ProsAdvertising: Hits 25 = 3.57% conversion
Tutorials4Newbies: Hits 48 = 3.06%
List Bandit: Hits 0 (again)
WeBizInsider: Hits 14 = 3.65% conversion
Overall
One Step 4 Income continues to encourage me. My down line there now numbers 24.
